As the founder and CEO of Uniguide, I am very excited to welcome you into our community that has dedicated resources to help students achieve their academic and professional aspirations. My journey with education in the UK began much like many of yours-as an international student. Leaving my home country, Nepal, for studies in the UK was a life-changing experience; it shaped my career, my vision, and finally the creation of Uniguide.
I did my undergraduate degree in the UK and pursued my MBA here, whereby I learned first-hand not only invaluable insights about my area of study but also from the challenges and rewards of studying abroad. Over the years, I have worked extensively within UK higher education to build on my knowledge of the academic landscape, university systems, and opportunities open to students from anywhere in the world.
My experience also spans Nepal’s banking sector, where I worked with students and families to help them financially plan for higher education. This blend of experience in both the UK education and Nepalese banking sectors has equipped me with a holistic perspective which I am proud of bringing to Uniguide. With such a background, an attempt is made to offer the students a comprehensive, one-stop service package-from personalized academic counselling to customized financial counselling-which would make the journey easier and more accessible for the students and their families.
I am also certified as a counsellor by the British Council and the Training Institute for Technical Instruction (TITI) to further enhance my ability to support students. These certifications prove my commitment toward maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and care in everything we do at Uniguide. They empower me to give personalized, accurate, and up-to-date advice relevant to the fast-changing landscape of international education.
